My Acne Journey 003 - 2 months of Beauche + short review

This is what i look like before using beauche. (March 8, 2014)
I bought beauche set for 750php. It has 3 creams, 2 liquid solutions and 1 bar soap.

Beauty bar - whitens skin; removes blemishes
Skin toner - freshens skin
Exfoliating cream - exfoliates your skin
Rejuvenating cream - tightens pores, lighten marks
Clarifying solution - whitens skin

Here's the transformation of my face 3 weeks after using beauche.

Worse ey? It peels my skin off but i dont think that it's making my case better. I just guess, the ingredients in it are too harsh and too powerful for my skin. Thus, it just irritates my acne.

Now here's the before and after 1 month photo:

I tried another set for the next month in hope that it will be better but this was the result:

Today i stopped using beauche. I just realized that my case just worsen. Well, it did lighten my skintone but not my acne scars. I hate it that it had cost me a thousand and a half just to worsen my case. I regret trying this product. It just brought me more scars, more acne and more problem. (Notice that my pimples on my forehead had gone but it brought me more on the jawline and well, i dont even have a single pimple on my jawline back then but now i have plenty of it. Thanks beauche nice job! :/ )

Now I am back to my old remedy. I will  post some updates soon. Sorry for not updating every month. Thanks for reading!

  1. Hello. I appreciate this review very much. If i may ask, did you try doing a skin test first, like maybe on your wrist, or just below the elbow? I use something similar to this. Different brand but looks the same nonetheless. I did a skin test, and it gave me a burning uncomfortable feeling for the first 30 mins. But for the first couple of days I only tried the soap. Just to see how my face'll react. I also have bad acne problem like yours (blame it on the genes lol). Anyhoo, to cut it short, whenever I feel the stinging feeling get worse, I stop the routine for a few days. I use Dove soap on my face. And I also apply a bit of coconut oil just to relieve the burning stinging feeling. I never use the toner twice a day. So far, it's working ok for me. In my honest opinion, maybe it would've helped a bit if you sorta let the pimples dry out a bit first. Just to avoid having broken skin due to the pimples. :) thanks for this review

    1. Hi! Yes i tried doing a skin test on this one, but it had no raction so i used it right away. But.. I guess my face was too sensitive for those. I am now currently using an acne kit (epiduo acne kit) my tita gave me and i think.. It works better than beauche. I guess.. And now I found out that my main problem is the thing called post-acne inflammation or the red discoloration of the skin after having acne. I learned AHA products could help so as soon as I finish this kit i am using, I'm gonna try AHA products just to test if it works :)) thanks for your suggestions! Appreciated it so much!

    2. Use diane pill my dear... any soap will never correct your hormonal problem.

  2. I suffered from severe acne as well, back when i was in college. But now my skin is clear (i do get a few pimples because of my period but i have a remedy for it now). The thing is, I also used a skincare set thats similar from beauche but from another brand and it made my acne worse as time went by. I just wanted to share what I did that worked for me.

First, try to use organic products, organic = healthy for your skin, no chemical additives means lesser clogged pores = lesser acne. Try Human Nature products. I use their day and night moisturizers and they work great for my skin. But if there's one thing that really saved my skin, it would be their Rosehip oil. Instead of using pimple gels for my pimples, I use a drop or two of the rosehip oil and dab it gently on my pimples. After 2-3 days they get dry and won't leave those ugly dark pimple scars. I also use the rosehip oil for my acne scar and it seriously helped in fading them.

Also, don't forget to scrub at least once a week. In my case, I avoid using facial scrubs with tiny beads because i find it too harsh for my sensitive skin ( i've used st. ives facial scrub for years and i just recently realized how it wan't really working for my skin lol) so instead, I use peeling gels. I think peeling gels work better because they get rid of dead skin without actually damaging the skin surface (your skin might feel dry after but you just need a good moisturizer to fix it ^^) You can find peeling gels in korean boutiques like tony moly, missha, etc. I'm using Missha's detox peeling gel btw. :)

Lastly, just avoid using commercial skincare products AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE because most of them aren't really good for your skin. Personally I only use 2 products that aren't organic (Eskinol Papaya toner & Missha detox peeling gel) but aside from those, everything else is organic. I use an organic soap that can be used for my face instead of normal facial wash. Even my shampoo is organic because when you take a bath, the suds get in your face and those suds from commercial shampoos contain pore-clogging ingredients, and that sometimes contribute to your acne. So yeah, the main point is, use organic products lol. And then avoid consuming dairy products as much as possible as well. Drink green tea every single day because it's also good in fighting/preventing acne (you might not like it at first, but once you get used to it, you will find green tea calming ^^ haha)

so yeah that's it. I'm sorry if my post was too long and I'm actually just a random reader. I know how it feels about having acne for years and I sincerely hope my tips could help you end your acne journey soon. Good luck! ^-^

    1. Hello! Yeah I heard rosehip oil is really great for acne. But I have never saw one in the local market.. Thanks for the suggestions! Gonna try some of it of course. :) as of now, i just am just finishing an acne kit my tita gave me. And i am planning to use baby soaps afterwards, because i heard it is the best mild soap an acne person may use. Hehe. Gonna try organic soon! Is mediherbs organic btw? Thank you so much for dropping by my blog!

    2. Hmm to be honest i've never heard/tried mediherbs I had to search for it online lol. looking at the ingredients, i do think it's organic ^^ the facial soap i'm using right now is Diamond Orange Peel and L -Glutathione Face and Body Bar which you can buy in Watsons. I love this soap but it can be a bit drying for some. Also, some baby soaps still contain harsh chemicals so if you're going to use one, make sure to look at the ingredients first and avoid those with *sulfates, phthalates, parabens, triclosan etc. If you want a gentle and organic soap, your best choice would be glycerine soaps~ you could search for the effects/benefits of using a pure glycerine soap ^^ the one that i've tried was from zenutrients (they have kiosks in sm malls) and they worked great for me <3 Good luck! ^^

    Best Acne Products to Use

  4. Hello there! Judging by your pictures, your acne might be caused by hormone imbalance. You need internal care: proper diet, exercise and LOTS of water intake. For external, the best and completely simple advice I could give is if, you have oily to combination skin then use a foaming cleanser; If you have dry to normal skin then use a creamy cleanser. The brand of the products doesn't quite matter; however, the simple the ingredients are, the better. I would suggest facial masks twice a week to get rid of the dead skins. My preference are these masks:

    http://www.freemanbeauty.com/product/best-seller-multi-mask-set

I used them for so many years and couldn't live without them! I don't know if they're available in your country but try to order them online. Of course, I'm no skin expert and this is solely based on my personal experience because I have a sister who suffer the same kind of acne years ago.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any personal advice. :)

    1. Sorry for the super late response! I am going to check that product :) thanks for the suggestion! My other fallopian tube is not functioning well but the other one is okay and the doctor told me that maybe that is the cause of my acne because it causes hormonal imbalance. But I am trying to live healthier as possible so I think that works! Ive got better face now. But not as smooth.

  6. Thank you so much for sharing. I agree with you. I think their products are very harmful. If you have a sensitive skin. I could suggest that you try organic products. Try the products from I love Human Heart Nature. It is organic and paraben free. It's cheap too and made in the Philippines :)

  9. Try using eskinol and add cefuroxime axetil (zegen) 500mg. Since you have a severe case of acne add 2 tablet of cefuroxime. Cefuroxime is a broad spectrum antibiotic that is also good for siin infections. Wash your face with nisce bactiguard soap. And apply benzoil peroxide to areas of breakouts.

  12. Hey :) I am trying the product now to fade my acne scars. But I have a terrible acne too which ceased when I stopped eating dairy and eggs! Also, I used Diane 35 and believe me, they just stopped growing for a week. I realized that the acne is due to my hormones hence I made sure that I avoided food that may raise female testosterone level such as eggs. May this will help and thanks for the review. :)

  15. hi. i have been using the beauche set for 5days as complete and today should be my 6th day but i decided to not continue using it after i did the first 2 steps like the toner and the soap because it is so painful and there are this small pimple like that pops in my face and so itchy. i am not a pimple person but this past few months there appeared like three pimples at different times that leave dark marks and is taking so long to get away so i decided to use the set so when those little pimple like appeared i was mortified so i decided to stop using the full set now, what happened when you stop using it? did it become worst or you used different product immediately? please answer. thank you.

  16. The first time I used Beauche products, it worked like magic on my acne. However, I got tired of using it as the morning cream makes my face too oily and the creams dry out in the container before I even finish it. I tried other products in the market but to my my dismay, pimples started appearing and became a full blown acne. I went back to Beauche but the acne got a lot worse. Since I knew that it worked for me before, I didn't lose hope and continued using it. My face started clearing out after the 3rd month. No more big pimples and even the small rash-like pimples healed completely. Now, I am still using it and I guess I'm stuck to it for life. I just hope they make some improvements in their products and make it more suitable for oily skin.
